Here are a few simple guidelines for stealing another horse.

To steal a horse you must be a lead.
You may steal any gender or any age of horse.
To steal another, you don't have to post a riddle. Just make a simple post of what character you are using, who you are stealing, and whom you are stealing from. The other player has 3 days to block this. If they block the steal a staff member will roll a dice for each of the stallions. Whoever has the highest number wins.
If the steal is successful, then whoever was stolen can't be stolen again for 1 weeks time.
You may only have 1 successful steal per week, however you may only make 3 steals per week.

Example:

Annabelle wishes to steal Damon from Stefan

Stefan comes in and blocks, a staff now rolls 2 times.

Annabelle's roll: 5
Stefan's roll: 2

Annabelle would win and Stefan could challenge Annabelle to get Damon back, or choose to wait the rest period to try and steal back or he could simply let his brother go to be tortured by Annabelle.

If it went like this:

Annabelle: 3
Stefan: 6

Stefan would keep Damon and Annabelle could try again.
